Stuck in an Airport, Oh My!

It is 1:38 pm and stuck in an airport. Due to my initial flight getting delayed, I arrived too late to board my other flight to Tokyo, Japan. So at this moment, I am here in Los Angeles and will remain so until 6:30pm. Arrived at 10:44am but by then I could not enter my flight. So an agent arranged it so that I get to Tokyo but I enter a different airport and time. I will leave around 6:30pm and arrive at Haneda Airport at ~10:30pm the next day. From there I will take a bus or if it is too late, a taxi to Grand Pacific Le Daiba hotel. So far, finding stuff to do until then has been the real challenge. As well as having a headache. Mostly, I have been on my laptop but yeah.
So why not take this opportunity to explain the logistics and so forth.

 So after getting my acceptance in February, the rest of the time I have been trying to procure scholarships to fund my trip. I got one which was a huge relief for me to pay off the tuition/airplane ride there. Well not completely but it was a good amount to pay off the airplane ride. In the meantime I have received emails about the tuition payment deadline but I sent a response saying that I needed more time to see if I received the scholarship I was waiting the result on. The HIF office will send updates and other info as the time gets closer to go to Hokkaido. One of them will say that if you are waiting the result of a scholarship, they can extend the deadline. This information would have been better for me if I got it before because I was stressing about noticing the payment deadline while still waiting for my scholarship result. (Either the result came after the deadline or the application was due at a later time than the deadline and so forth). In around mid April I went to wire HIF the tuition money. Interesting day that was. First time wiring money! In terms of airplanes, I purchased the one that left at the recommended day and came back to my home state on the 8th of August, the last day of the program. I probably have more to say but I cannot focus on it at this moment due to my situation. If i recall any more, I will put it in another post.
